Managers and Experts of Shengli Oilfield’s Visit and Discussion with Jurassic Software

On March 19, 2009, 5 of leaders and experts from Exploration Department, Information Center, Institute of Geological, Geophysical Institute of Shengli Oilfield came to Jurassic Software Company for the visit and discussion with Jurassic on the existing research results and future development orientation of Exploration & Development Information Construction at home and abroad.

As Shengli Oilfield is now ready to proceed to a new plan on Exploration & Development Information Construction,  the leaders in Jurassic introduced and analyzed the status of information management of SinoPec, PetroChina and CNOOC, and the  development trend at home and abroad at first, and the then the technological experts introduced the information construction on the aspects of information standard, data acquisition and management, comprehensive research results and knowledge management on exploration information, research models and applications and supporting system, and they also introduced with demo Jurassic Software’ new products including Exploration Knowledgebase Systems, Unstructured Data Management System and Graphics platform.

Through this communication and discussion, the leaders and experts of Shengli Oilfield have further understood domestic and international information management status and development trend of the technology, and known more about the products and technology of Jurassic Software as expected.
